South Shore Community Acupuncture is proud to offer AFFORDABLE acupuncture to the South Shore community! We are located within MVPediatrics and offer acupuncture treatments to both adults and kids.

Our mission is to provide high quality, effective acupuncture treatments at rates that people can afford. Our acupuncturists are Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in Massachusetts by the Board of Registration in Medicine and have completed a Master’s Degree program in Acupuncture, including internships at hospitals and community health clinics.

Meghan

Meghan K. McGonagle, LAc, MAOM, Dipl.OM (NCCAOM)

Meghan, MAOM, Lic.Ac, is a board certified Acupuncturist and a registered Diplomate with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Massachusetts by the Board of Registration in Medicine. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in 2014 where she received her Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.  As NESA is the oldest accredited institution for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the United States, it provided Meghan with an excellent foundation for her studies in Chinese Medical Theory, Practical Acupuncture Techniques, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Japanese Style Acupuncture.

During her extensive education, Meghan completed internships at an Orthopedic Specialty Clinic, Pathways for Wellness Clinic in Boston, Herbal Clinics, and a Japanese Style Acupuncture Clinic at NESA.  She is a past Board Member of the Acupuncture Society of Massachusetts.  Meghan is also a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition and a strong advocate for integrative medicine.  Meghan’s specialties include Women’s Health, Fertility, Mental/Emotional Health, Chronic Pain, Autoimmune Diseases, Managing Cancer Side Effects and the Treatment of Children.

Meghan is passionate about helping people.  She believes in an integrative, holistic model and uses treatments to achieve maximum health and bring the mind, body, and spirit back into balance.  When she is not at work she enjoys crocheting, visiting with friends, and spending time with her cats

Nina Warburton RPh, MANP, MAOM, Dipl. OM, Lic. Ac.

Compassionate and highly skilled with over 18+ years of clinical experience, she enjoys being a liaison between Eastern and Western Medicine. Her holistic and integrative approach aims to support and guide body, mind & spirit through a transformative journey to a state of balance & optimal health. 

Nina received a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in 2017. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine.                

She earned a Pharmacy Degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Science in 2000 and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.

Additionally, she has received a Master Degree of Applied Natural Products from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Science University in 2010 where she acquired her foundation in Functional Medicine, Nutrition, Dietary Supplements, Pharmacognosy, Phytotherapy & Herbal Safety.

Furthermore, she spent 2 years at David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies between 2010 -2012, focusing on Western Herbalism and authoring a clinical research paper: ‘Gut Associated Lymphoid Tissue & Immunoregulators.’

Nina’s key focuses are pain, muscular-skeletal pain/orthopedic acupuncture, digestive health (allergies, autoimmune diseases), chronic illnesses (arthritis, cancer, diabetes), women’s health (including fertility), anxiety & stress relief, & so much more …
